An Enchanted Evening: A Night With Oscar Hammerstein II debuting on August 24th at the Bristol Riverside Theatre was featured in the Princeton Packet. Headliner Doreen Taylor sat down with the paper and discussed the brand new show in this wonderfully in depth interview.

"He really was ahead of his time, and he paved the way for so many topics and things people weren't talking about at the time," Taylor says. "He was really liberal and he pushed the envelope in many different ways. It's intriguing and I'm so glad I'm going to be able to teach a theater full of people something about him. I really wanted to make a show where even someone who knows a lot about him will walk away learning something and on the same side, somebody who doesn't know anything will come away enlightened. So we're going to try to do that and also do some great music, with great performances of his best stuff."

Doreen Taylor To Receive Boys & Girls Club Inspiration Award

Billboard's Hot 100 Adult Contemporary recording artist, Doreen Taylor will be honored with the Inspiration Award from the Boys & Girls Club of Camden Country at the Be Great Extravaganza on Thursday, May 5th, 2016 at Lucien's Manor in Berlin, New Jersey.

Taylor was selected for this great achievement because of her hit 2016 holiday single "My Christmas Wish" which she not only raised money for the organization through sales of her single but, also filmed the official music video at the East Camden Clubhouse with many of the children that benefit from the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

"Being selected to receive the 2016 Inspiration Award from the Boys & Girls Club of Camden County is such an incredible honor for me." Taylor said. "I have worked so hard to help so many children throughout my career and I am truly thankful to see that effort and dedication is paying off. Perhaps I can inspire others to also help and make a difference in their communities."

Doreen will also be performing a moving musical tribute at the 2016 Be Great Event after she receives her award. Other award recipients are notables from the Philadelphia area; the Mayor of Camden, Dana L. Redd (Citizenship Award), President of Rowan University, Ali A. Houshmand (Education Award) and President & CEO of Virtua Heathcare, Richard P. Miller (Heath & Fitness Award)

Doreen Taylor to Perform at Boys & Girls Club Gala

Award winning top 40, adult contemporary artist and songwriter Doreen Taylor has been asked to be a special guest performer at the Boys & Girls Club of America/Camden County Be Great Extravaganza on Thursday, May 5th 2016. Taylor was selected because of her outstanding support of the organization with her hit holiday song "My Christmas Wish" which she chose to benefit the Boys & Girls Club. Taylor shot her official music video at the Camden Clubhouse with children from the charity & a donation was made to BGCCC from the purchase of the song's single.

"I am really excited to be performing at the Boys & Girls Club of Camden County Be Great Extravaganza! I am a huge supporter of the great work they do and feel very honored to be able to lend my music and talents to help promote their organization," Taylor said. "I had the privilege of meeting some of the great kids that benefit from the BGCCC while filming my music video for "My Christmas Wish" and I fell in love with them and the charity."

The Be Great Extravaganza event will be held on May 5, 2016 at Lucien's Manor in Berlin, NJ from 6:00-8:30pm EST

Doreen Taylor Speaks to Students in Anti-Bullying Campaign

Adult contemporary recording artist Doreen Taylor was honored to speak to over 300 5th and 6th grade students at the Upper Elementary School (UES) in North Hanover, NJ on Monday, October 26th. With the help of Bullies Keep Out's founder Dana Jacoviello, students were treated to an intimate meet & greet as well as a full assembly where Doreen & Dana shared their own personal stories, an emotional PSA about bullying and ended with a candid Q&A.
