Magic, the album, showcases Doreen’s talents as not only a vocalist, but as a songwriter and musician. Backed by acoustic musicians in a subdued setting, DOREEN TAYLOR: STRIPPED offers Doreen’s unique fusion of soothing vocals, engaging and upbeat showmanship and homegrown country-rock roots in an understated homage to her Broadway roots.

It’s not often that a country-rock singer-songwriter does a cabaret-style show off Broadway. DOREEN TAYLOR: STRIPPED is a true testament to Doreen’s ability as an artist to continually transcend musical boundaries. Doreen’s hometown upbringing gave way to a sudden and remarkable career at an early age when her town, family, congregation and most importantly Doreen herself, realized the true power and strength of her voice. While some singers feel performing since childhood has burned them out or shown them the wrong side of the industry, she believes her young start has only made her stronger as a vocalist, songwriter and performer.
