Doreen Taylor Performs Special Tribute at 2016 LLS Event

Award winning, adult contemporary recording artist Doreen Taylor was a special guest performer at the 2016 Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Eastern PA Man & Woman of the Year Grand Finale Celebration at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel on Friday, June 10th.

Taylor performed a special moving tribute to Savannah and Garrett, the 2016 Girl and Boy of the Year who both survived cancer and true inspirations of strength and courage. With guitarist Ben O'Neill, she performed her emotional version of "Over the Rainbow" to a sold out audience of 400 guests while a beautiful video produced by Flavia Mangan Colgan played behind her highlighting their journey.

Congratulations to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society - Man & Woman of the Year Eastern PA and the 15 candidates for raising over $366,000 that night to help find a cure for blood cancers.

Doreen Taylor Awarded Boys & Girls Club 2016 Inspiration Award

Billboard charting Adult Contemporary recording artist and award winning songwriter, Doreen Taylor was awarded the prestigious 2016 Inspiration Award from the Boys & Girls Club of Camden County at the Be Great Extravaganza on May 5, 2016 at Lucien's Manor in New Jersey. Doreen received the honor for her tireless work with the organization and charitable work within the community. Guests at the Be Great Gala were treated to a live performance by Doreen of her moving rendition of "Over the Rainbow" with guitarist Randy Bowland. Taylor dedicated her performance as well as the award to the kids in the Boys & Girls Club.

Taylor filmed the official music video for her 2015 Holiday hit "My Christmas Wish" with the children from the Boys & Girls Club of Camden County and donated a portion of the proceeds from sales of the physical song's single. In 2014, Taylor also teamed up with children from both the Philadelphia and Camden, NJ chapters when she personally bused out the children from both organizations to Independence Hall/Liberty Bell in Philadelphia, PA as part of her new mission as Ambassador to the National Parks to get children connected to the US National Parks. Kids got a chance to meet Doreen, hear a special live performance of her song "Colors of the USA" performed in the park and visit the Liberty Bell.

Doreen Taylor Named Honorary Chair of Big Brothers Big Sisters 50th Anniversary Gala

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bucks County will be celebrating their milestone 50th year by hosting the "Evening For Kids' Sake 2013" Gala and has selected international country/rock star Doreen Taylor as their honorary chairperson for this incredible night. "BBBSBC is an outstanding organization that has successfully helped countless kids in need. Not only is it an honor to be affiliated with this incredible cause, but I am ecstatic to have been asked to be their honorary chairperson for such a milestone event," Taylor stated. "To know that my music has allowed me to help bring such well deserved recognition to this incredible charity is the greatest feeling in the world."

Country singing sensation, Doreen Taylor, appeared as a special celebrity guest at the StopCAIDNow Gala March 2, 2013 at the Ritz Carlton in Philadelphia, PA. Setting the wonderfully elegant, intimate tone of the evening, Taylor(with her guitarist, Bob Rotondo of American Hawk) performed a beautiful acoustic rendition of her song "Perfect For Me" from her debut country album, "Magic".
