Following up on the great success of her breakout single “TOY”, Billboard Top 100 recording artist and songwriter Doreen Taylor will release her much anticipated, debut adult contemporary album “Happily Ever After” on October 13th, 2016. “Happily Ever After” is arranged by musical legend Larry Gold (Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, Lana Del Rey, Justin Timberlake, et al.) who specifically chose to work with Doreen because of her undeniable talent, drive and passion for making 'good' music. The new album focuses on fusing powerhouse vocals and haunting melodies while incorporating elements of retro and modern popular music. Pulling from several styles, including R&B, soul and pop, “Happily Ever After” targets an audience craving high quality, eclectic musicianship that is very hard to find today.
An accomplished country singer/songwriter with her successful album “Magic”, Doreen Taylor made the liberating leap from country music to mainstream pop/adult contemporary music with her single “TOY” in 2015 which charted on Billboard's Top 100 and reached #31 on the Adult Contemporary Chart after receiving heavy airplay on radio stations nationwide.
